Oneshot Recommendations II

Here are more oneshots for you guys to enjoy.

Bride on Loan by: Ririko Tsujita

A wizard’s apprentice tries to come up with an excuse to prevent her master from being forced to marry.

(summary from Baka-Updates)

This is a cute one shot that I definitely enjoyed without all the needless drama and there is a time skip at the end as well. I don’t want to go into too much detail or I might blurt out a huge spoiler.

The Honeybee Earl and The Flower Dress by: TOYOTA Yuu

Dahlia is the only female dressmaker in Galleria. She is kidnapped and commissioned by the infamous “Honeybee Earl”, who is known to jump from woman to woman like a capricious bee jumps from flower to flower, to make the ultimate wedding dress for his fiancée. Can Dahlia complete the dress without getting stung by the Honeybee Earl?

(summary from Baka-Updates)

This one was so adorable. The main character girl is talented and cautious and yet she can’t see the most obvious signs until it is too late. Romance lovers will definitely enjoy this.

Those are my oneshot recommendations for today. I hope you enjoy them to the fullest no matter how short. As always please support the creators of these works and the translators when you can.

Manga Recommendations XIII

Man, I nearly lost count on how many manga I have recommended over the months. Well, here are more manga recommendations that you guys can enjoy.

Migawari Hakushaku no Bouken by: SEIKE Mimori & SHIBATA Isuzu

 Migawari Hakushaku no Bouken

(image from Baka-Updates)

Mireille is the daughter of a bakery owner and her twin brother Fred was adopted into another family when they were kids. One day a letter from her brother arrived, saying he was in love with another man’s woman. She replied, challenging him to be a man and claim the woman as his. Two months later, a beautiful young man named Richard, claiming to be a messenger from Fred, visits and tells her “I’ve come for you.” When the bewildered Mireille resists, he proceeds to kidnap her! It turns out that Fred has eloped with the crown prince’s fiance, and it is now her responsibility to impersonate Fred – the former Count of Bernhardt!

(summary from Baka-Updates)

I’m kind of surprised that I didn’t recommend this sooner. This has crossdressing and twins, the perfect mix for a shoujo girl like me. Besides the drama, the comedy really brings out the story, especially when the girl tries to pretend to be her twin brother around sweaty soldiers and her belief that she can bake (she is the worst bread baker in the world to the point one of the characters believes her bread is a weapon). There is also romance, so romance lovers will enjoy this as well.

Keishichou Tokuhanka 007 by: KAJI Eiri

 Keishichou Tokuhanka 007

(image from Baka-Updates)

The “Special Crime Investigation Department 007” includes the most capable and extraordinary investigators and Fuyuki, who also becomes one of its members, is very capable, too. And she is paired with Kuze, a cool and very bishounen detective. Their combination proves to be the most dangerous one the police headquarters had ever seen!

(summary from Baka-Updates)

The moment you see 007, you immediately think secret agent, but this is a supernatural detective story. The supernatural part being the main character girl, who uses her power to help solve crimes. Kind of reminds me of Kurosagi Child, my story, but the main character girl is very innocent and it seems she is clueless when it comes to love. Such a lovable character in my opinion.

Kurosagi Child update and announcement

Manga Hunter here! I have updated Kurosagi Child, but I have some bad news. I still need to complete the other cases for this story and I don’t want to make each case three pages long, so to give me time to write complete cases I will start updating this story in May 2016. Hopefully this will be enough time, so look forward to it guys and here is the current chapter and last chapter on Season 1 of Kurosagi Child.
